Join Russ Hefty for a drop-in program for information about Purple Martins, see the Purple Martin House in Community Park and learn how to attract & house them on your own property.
We will gather at shelter #2. Please bring your binoculars if you have them; binoculars are a great way to observe the nesting birds without being too intrusive. Russ can answer questions about Purple Martins and will have handouts on how to be a purple martin landlord. From the shelter we can walk towards the house to observe.
